Let’s talk about time…
I thought we could chat about time. (Ha ha, every busy woman laughs,) no, I mean the time you find for your running.
I wanted to check in to see how your scheduling is going.
I think the best way to ensure you fit your runs in, is to sit down at the start of the week (maybe with your partner if you’re going to need them to be home with the kids while you run,) and plug each run into your diary like it’s a critical appointment, because let’s face it…it is!
Diarise your runs. Will it be an early morning one, sponsored by your alarm clock?
Might you fit a run in during your lunchbreak at work?
Or will you make the most of the longer days and head out before dinner?
Once you can visually see the training in your diary, you can see how everything fits in and around it.
See, nobody misses out when you go for a run ;-) and look at that, everything will still get done. Slot in Pilates too if that’s a must-do for you, or gym, or maybe it’s a swim or walk with a friend.
Blocks of time to exercise are critical: for you, your health, your mindset and the wellbeing of your family unit.
